A foundation with one simple principle: move upward. A single graphic element — an arrow inside a superellipse — and nothing else.
The arrow is born from three parts: the upward gesture, the letter “a” of the name, and the superellipse holding it together. The result is a sign you read in a tenth of a second and that survives any size — favicon to bus-stop canvas.
With a single element the temptation is to decorate. We did the opposite: full red, white, and the arrow repeated as a pattern when texture is needed. The whole identity fits in a rule you can explain in one sentence.
Cups, totes, bus shelters. The sign points up on all of them — which is exactly what a foundation should say without words.
The hang tag works as the foundation's seal: anything wearing it is “arrowed”. Proof that one well-drawn element outworks ten mediocre ones.
